enson Stone Company has recently started a sandblasting program. Equipment and shop space is now dedicated to sandblast stone.

 

 

Shown are examples of polished granite, a granite boulder, and Indiana limestone. Sandblasting can be accomplished on a large variety of materials. Applications include signs, address markers, ornamental stones and more. Texturing stone such as granite, marble, kasota, New York bluestone, lannon and more can add a warm weathered finish. The possibilities are limited only to the imagination.

In the past, Benson Stone has carved letters, numbers and patterns in Indiana limestone. While the company will continue to do hand carving, the ability of utilizing sandblasting will open many options, including various stone types and applications not possible by hand carving alone.
